December 16-17 2011 IBPA National Powerlifting Championships

I hope to see everyone at this year's IBPA National Powerlifting Championships Dec. 16-17 2011. The event will be held at Dungeon's Gym East. The gym is on Main Street...very easy to find. Big glass windows in front with two tall knights in the windows.

Jim Marti will be attempting to break the all time Master IIII Dead Lift Record December 17th. He owns the National Record in his weight class at 240...but will be trying to break the All Time Master IIII record of 260 pounds.

9:30 a.m. Start with Prejudging

Finals follow Prejudging

Classes

Men's Open ( No testing ) One Class

Men's Natural ( Drug Testing) Two Classes Short under 5'8 and tall over 5"8.25"

Women's Open ( No Testing ) One Class

Women's Natural ( Drug Testing ) Two Classes Short under 5'4" and over 5'4"

Prejudging

3 rounds

Finals

One round ( 90 seconds or less for posing music)

Drug Testing will follow 8 a.m. athletes meeting

Event held on the stage at Dungeon's Gym East

Limited seating. Tickets $10 for both shows.

Trophies...everyone will place. 1st though ?...

Fees: No IBPA Card to purchase. Drug Testing will be done by the IBPA

Entry Fee: $40 Dollars per athlete. $10 extra for a t-shirt.

Team Trophy for The most team members from a Gym or Trainers Team.

Trophies: Best Legs, Best Abs, Best Poser, Best Back.

All entry fees must be in to Dungeon's Gym by Feb. 12 2012 in order for you to compete.

This show will not be canceled. It will be held no matter what the the weather. A good first show to kick off the 2012 bodybuilding season.

IBPA Natural Bodybuilding Contests

The IBPA has been promoting Natural Bodybuilding since 1983.

The IBPA is open to all natural bodybuilders.

The IBPA welcomes all concerns and ideas to make this sport fun for everyone.

IBPA Bodybuilding contests:

Are always small in numbers. We limit the number of contestants in each show.

Are always ran as one show. Prejudging and finals are together.

Are always drug free. Athletes will submit to a urine test before competing.

Are not as expensive to compete in. No memberships fees for the athletes to purchase.

Where everyone will place and come home with hardware.

Promoters Choice:

In some events The IBPA will give travel allowances to the overall winners.

If you would like to become a IPBA Bodybuilder just look over the following list of contests/championships and send in your entry fee to the promoters address below. Remember each contest will have a limit on the number of athletes competing. This will allow the events to be ran easily and to make sure you are not spending to much of your day waiting around to compete. This organization is about each athlete having fun on YOUR DAY!
